Personal Property

The Commercial Activity Tax (CAT), a new business privilege tax on gross receipts is currently being phased in to replace Personal Property Tax.  In 2009, Personal Property assessments rates fell to zero for most businesses. Making filing a yearly return no longer a requirement. 

All businesses are required to file form (CAT 12 INS) by May 10th of each year with the Ohio Department of Taxation.
